Buffalo, NY - The Mount Aloysius men's basketball team defeated D'Youville 89-80 on Sunday afternoon in AMCC play.

Shawn Greenfield netted 27 points and Dillon Bender added 25 for the Mount. Nolan Doyle registered 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Off the bench, Tanner Thomas scored 15 points and Clint Wagner grabbed ten rebounds.

The Mounties led throughout the game, but D'Youville cut the lead to one with 3:38 to play. The Mounties responded with a 6-0 run to take control and earn the win. They hit their foul shots down the stretch, and for the game the Mount was 31-for-40 at the line.

The Mounties improve to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
