Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius men's basketball team lost a close AMCC contest 96-91 to visiting Medaille College on Saturday afternoon.

Shawn Greenfield poured in 40 points for the Mounties, including a 6-for-11 clip from behind the arc. Dillon Bender added 15 points and four rebounds, and Tanner Thomas was strong off the bench with 13 points and seven boards. Nolan Doyle added four assists on the offensive end.

The Mounties shot 46.7% for the game, including 10-for-10 at the line. The Mavericks were also efficient with a 52.2% showing from the field, and a 21-for-24 day at the free throw line.

The Mount drops to 8-9 overall and 5-6 in conference play. They return to action on February 1st against Penn State-Behrend on the road.
