    On Wednesday, October 1^st, the Lady Mounties defeated the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats in four exciting games. The women came out mentally and physically ready to take on whatever the Bobcats threw at them. The Lady Mounties are now 2-1 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
    
    The scores of the match were 25-18, 20-25, 25-17, and 25-20 Mount Aloysius. After this huge win the girls are itching to see what the rest of the conference teams have to offer. Sophomore outside hitter, Lindsey Mercer led with 14 kills and 16 digs. Freshman middle hitter, Kristin Miles was right behind Mercer with 10 kills and 2 blocks. Sophomore defensive specialist, Brenna Wright led in digs with 18. Sophomore setter, Jordan DeMasi led in assists with 22. 
    
    Coach Brianna Baker is very pleased with the team and stated "I am so proud of my girls, they are finally starting to click and play like the team that I know they are."
