Shawn Greenfield's running jumper fell just short and visiting Hilbert escaped with a 77-76 win on Saturday afternoon in AMCC action.
Dillon Bender had a strong game shooting for the Mounties with 24 points, including a 5-for-9 showing from behind the arc. He sank a three from deep at the buzzer of the first half to provide the Mounties a 40-28 lead heading into the break.
Nolan Doyle added 15 points off the bench, and Greenfield was in double figures with 11 points to go with five assists.
Dameon Turner mixed eight points and a team-high nine rebounds.
With the score tied at 76-76, Hilbert drew a foul and Jordan Kumro hit the second of two free throws before Greenfield's coast-to-coast attempt hit the front of the rim.
Mount Aloysius falls to 6-8 in conference and 9-11 overall with the loss.
