Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius College women's volleyball team had great community support for their annual Dig Pink event, but lost the tough battle to La Roche College in  five sets (25-22, 24-26, 27-29, 28-26, and 12-15).

The Lady Mounties played aggressively throughout the match, but struggled to finish in the end. Leading the team's offense was Kristin Miles with 17 kills. Elizabeth Yacobucci followed close behind with 15. Katie Reed chipped in for 32 assists. Brenna Wright and Megan Ruddock controlled the defense. Wright contributed with 28 digs and Ruddock had 5 blocks at the net for the Mounties.

The Lady Mounties will be back in action Saturday, October 24^th as they take on D'Youville, another conference rival, on the road.
