The Mount Aloysius College women's volleyball team added another conference win last night in their match against Franciscan University. The Mounties battled the Barons, taking them to 4 sets (18-25, 25-23, 25-22, 29-27).

Kristin Miles and Elizabeth Yacobucci led the offense with 11 kills apiece and Jordan DeMasi recorded 24 assists. Megan Ruddock controlled the net with 4 blocks and Lindsey Mercer led in digs with 19. With this win, the Mounties secured a position in playoffs.

Before the match, the Mounties recognized faculty from the college who have made an impact in their lives. Each player selected one faculty member and wrote a few sentences about why they chose them. Each faculty member was announced and given a certificate before the match started.

Also, another Lady Mountie reached a milestone in their career. Junior setter, Katie Reed, dished out her 1,000^th assist making her only the fourth Mountie in the college's history to reach this honor.

The team will take on Hilbert on Saturday, October 31^st at 1 for senior day.
