After a Frostburg bucket, Mount Aloysius wasn't able to convert on its last possession and the two sides went into overtime.

Wade hit back-to-back jumpers to give the Mounties a 85-82 lead, and Bender drilled a three-point shot the next time down to expand the advantage to 88-84 with 1:53 to go. The Mounties used strong defense and Bender made a layup and two free throws down the stretch to give Mount Aloysius a big opening win.

Mount Aloysius will return to the court this weekend with the Coaches v. Cancer Classic at Juniata College.
