Buffalo, NY - The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team registered a crucial 72-68 victory over D'Youville on Saturday afternoon in AMCC action on the road.

Abby Kulick paced the Mounties with 27 points to go with eight rebounds. Abbie Zinobile notched a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards, and Olivia Rupp also finished in double figures with 10 points. Morgan Brosnihan mixed five points, seven rebounds and three assists.

The Mounties outrebounded the Spartans 47-40 while forcing 14 turnovers. Mount Aloysius committed just 10 turnovers for the ballgame and recorded 14 assists on 25 baskets.

With the win, the Mounties improve to 6-9 in conference play and 9-11 overall in a tight battle for the final spots in the AMCC playoffs. The Mounties return to the court on Monday evening with a 6 p.m. home game against non-conference opponent Frostburg St. before resuming conference play next Saturday when they will play host to Penn State Behrend at 1 p.m.
