Ebensburg, PA - The Lady Mounties tennis team defeated rival Penn-State Altoona in a key conference matchup as both teams are trying to qualify for conference playoffs.

In doubles the Mounties were 1-2 with their lone win coming at #3 doubles 8-0.

The difference in the match was in singles.  The Mounties used a balanced lineup starting from #1 to #6.  Despite losing at the top two positions, the Mounties were simply too steady from #3 position to the #6 position winning those four matches in straight sets.

The Lady Mounties tennis team is now 2-2 in conference play with an overall record of 4-2.
