Cresson, PA - The Lady Mounties volleyball team took on the Shenandoah Hornets on the Saturday of Mount Aloysius' Homecoming weekend. It was a hard fought match and the teams were evenly matched throughout. With a second straight five set match, the Mounties came out and took the lead in set five and never looked back. The set scores were 23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-27 and 15-9. 

Lindsey Mercer and Sarah Fisher led the Lady Mounties with 10 kills. Fisher also added 7 blocks. Katie Reed dished out 18 assists, while Jordan DeMasi put up 17. 

Brenna Wright broke her own single game digs record as she ended the match with 40 digs. Wright has also broken Mount Aloysius' team all-time digs record. She is continuing to add to that amount during her senior season. 

The Lady Mounties take on AMCC rival Penn State Altoona at home at 7pm on Tuesday, October 4th. This is Mount Aloysius' annual Pink Out game. Come support a great cause!
