Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's tennis team won both of its weekend matches. In a non-conference matchup with Bethany on Saturday, the Mounties won 9-0. They followed that up with a 6-3 victory over conference opponent La Roche on Sunday.
In doubles play,
Emily Goldyn and
Joselyn Walters won both of their #1 doubles matches by scores of 8-1 on Saturday and 8-2 on Sunday.

Katelynn Arnold also both went 2-0 in doubles competition. In singles play, the Mounties had four players who recorded victories in both matches. Goldyn went 2-0 at #1 singles, and Walters (#3 singles), Arnold (#4 singles) and
Mackenzie Roush followed suit with perfect 2-0 singles weekends as well.
Mount Aloysius improves to 6-5 overall and 4-4 in conference play. With the win over La Roche, the Mounties secured themselves a spot in the upcoming AMCC Tournament. The opponent, time and location is to be determined.
