Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius men's soccer team was unable to find the back of the net as the Mounties fell by a final score of 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon against visiting Penn State Altoona.

The Lions scored two goals just under four minutes apart in the middle portion of the first half to open up the game. Mount Aloysius possessed well through the midfield throughout the game but couldn't find chances close to goal. Thomas Sloan, Jim Smith, Todd Azeles, Molia Sesay and Kyle Marshall each recorded shots for the Mounties in the loss.

In goal, keeper Kyle Lachance notched four saves. The Lions outshot the Mounties 12 to 5, while Mount Aloysius had a 3 to 1 edge in corner kick opportunities.

The Mounties will return to the field on Saturday with a road game at D'Youville set to kickoff at 1 p.m.
