Erie, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's tennis team was defeated by a final margin of 8-1 on Saturday afternoon in conference action against Penn State Behrend.

The Mounties dropped each of the three doubles matches as the vistors fell by margins of 8-3, 8-2 and 8-3. In singles play, the Mounties Katelynn Arnold put forth a great performance. After splitting the first two games 7-5 and 2-6, Arnold won in a tiebreaker by a final of 10-2. Mount Aloysius wasn't able to muster any other individual victories as the Lions walked away with the team win.

The Mounties fall to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in conference action. They return to the courts tomorrow for a 10 a.m. match at Pitt-Bradford.
