Latrobe, PA - The Lady Mountie volleyball team traveled to St. Vincent College for a Tri-Match on Saturday, September 17th. 

Penn State Fayette was their first opponent of the day. The Lady Mounties took control of the game and kept the momentum throughout the entire match winning in three sets (28-26, 25-16, and 26-24). Leading the Mounties in kills was Lindsey Mercer with 11. Elizabeth Yacobucci chipped in with 10 kills of her own and Kassidy Shumaker contributed with nine. Katie Reed and Jordan DeMasi both dished out 17 assists and Brenna Wright controlled the defense with 24 digs. 

The Lady Mounties dropped the second match of the day in three sets (22-25, 17-25, and 17-25). The team battled hard with St. Vincent College, but struggled to get early leads. Both outside hitters were strong for the Mounties. Elizabeth Yacobucci led with 11 kills and Lindsey Mercer followed with 10. Katie Reed had 15 assists and Brenna Wright led in digs with 19. 

The Mounties take on Valley Forge University and Lancaster Bible College in a tri-match at Valley Forge on Tuesday, September, 20th.
