Pittsburgh, PA - Wednesday afternoon, the Mountie volleyball team drove towards Pittsburgh to play a double-header against the Chatham University Cougars.

Emma Pevarnik and Machala Gibbons tied for eight kills each leading the Mounties in offense. However, that was not all for the ladies as Pevarnik tallied up 20 assists and Gibbons got 19 digs during the three set match. Sarah Fisher was a force to be reckoned with at the net with three blocks, but that was not enough for the Mounties to take the game, ending in a fierce-fought loss, 22-25, 16-25, 20-15.

After the tough match against Chatham, the Mounties went up against Westminster College. Carly Swope led in kills and digs with nine and 12 respectively while Emma Pevarnik added 15 assists to the match as Mounties fought hard against the Lady Titans. Rachel Borst added three aces to the match giving the Mounties an advantage at the serving line. However, the Mounties fell short against the Lady Titans, losing in a hard-fought 3-set match by a final of 18-25, 22-25, 17-25.
