Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team won its third straight game as the Mounties pulled away from visiting Pitt-Greensburg to win 66-49 on Wednesday evening in conference action.

Leading by a margin of 49-43 entering the fourth quarter, the Mounties outscored the Bobcats 17-6 over the final 10 minutes to notch the victory. Five different Mounties scored in the final quarter and the home side limited the Bobcats to just three baskets in the period.

Breana Kendrick led the Mounties throughout the course of the game with 19 points, including a 5-for-6 showing from behind the three-point arc. Abby Kulick scored 14 points and added eight rebounds, while Jessa Wright ended the contest with 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Defensively, the Mounties limited the Bobcats to a 1-for-13 showing from behind the three-point line while forcing 20 turnovers.

Mount Aloysius improves to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play and will face Penn State Behrend on Saturday at home at 3 p.m.
