Ebensburg, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's tennis team defeated visiting Marietta College by a final score of 8-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Ebensburg Tennis Center.

The Mounties swept doubles action as Emily Goldyn and Joselyn Walters teamed up to win 9-8 at #1 doubles followed by an 8-3 victory for Ericka Klavuhn and Katelynn Arnold at #2 doubles. Mackenzie Roush and Mackenzie Sweitzer concluded doubles with an 8-3 win at the #3 position.

In singles play, Klavuhn was victorious at #2 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win. Walters, Arnold, Roush and Sweitzer each won by wide margins as the Mounties recorded the team win.

Mount Aloysius improves to 7-6 overall for the 2016-2017 season and will have their second spring contest on March 26th at home against Lancaster Bible at 10 a.m.
