Oberlin, OH - This weekend, the Mounties women's volleyball team traveled to Oberlin, Ohio to play in three matches. On Friday, they took on the Oberlin Yeowoen losing by a final count of 3-1. The sets were evenly matched but the Mounties were defeated 25-22, 17-25, 10 -25, 25-27.

On Saturday, the Mounties battled the Defiance Yellow Jackets and the Marietta Pioneers. The first game was a hard-fought battle, but they came up short 19-25, 16-25, 17-25. The second game of the day went back and forth, but ultimately the Mounties were defeated 22-25, 23-25, 18-25.

Sarah Fisher led the team offensively over the weekend with 39 kills. Emma Pevarnik contributed 49 assists and Kylee Clawson added 62 digs.

The Lady Mounties take on St. Vincent College at home at 7 o'clock on Tuesday.
