Cresson, PA - The Lady Mounties volleyball team held their home opener on Tuesday night against the St. Vincent College Bearcats. The match was a close battle back and forth with the first four set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 23-25 and 25-18. The fifth set went point for point but the Bearcats pulled out the victory with a 16-14 win.

Leading the Mounties was junior setter, Jessica Bressler, with 30 assists and 10 kills. Freshman libero, Kylee Clawson, led the defense with 24 digs. Taking control of the offense was freshman outside hitter, Hannah Cotchen with 12 kills.

The Lady Mounties head to Lycoming College on Thursday, September 14th at 7pm.
