Waynesburg, PA - The Mount Aloysius College Men's soccer team have improved to an impressive 4-0-1 on the year, after a 1-0 victory over their most recent non-conference opponent, Waynesburg University, on Friday evening on the road. 

The game winning goal was netted by Mountie player James Maddison when a loose ball resulted in a nice drive from around 20 yards out. It would be the deciding factor in this close match, as the Mounties would hold on to the victory and secure their second shutout of the year.

Mountie goalkeeper James Eyre had a nice game in net, with three important saves, shutting out the Yellow Jackets en route to the Mounties fourth victory of the year.

The Men's Soccer team will return to the field this Sunday when they take on Thiel College at home in Cresson, PA.
