Cresson, PA -  The Mount Aloysius College men's soccer team notched another win on Wednesday, defeating non-conference opponent Wilson College in overtime on their home pitch by a final score of 1-0.

Both team's goalkeepers were busy with each team recording more than 10 shot attempts on goal, but at the end of regular time the match was scoreless. The match was decided in overtime when the Mounties own Will Funez controlled and then netted a quick rebound inside of the six-yard box.

Goalkeepers Allister Noronha and James Eyre combined for three saves and the shutout for the Mounties. Offensively, Joshua Devlin led the attack with six shots while Domity Dahn had a strong game up top while recording three shots.

The Mounties advanced their season standing to an impressive 6-0-1, while once playing tough defensively and shutting out the Phoenix team.

The Mounties return to the field on Saturday in Cresson at 1:00 PM when they take on Medaille College in their 2017 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) opener.
