Lancaster, PA - On Thursday night, the Lady Mounties traveled to Lancaster Bible College to play two matches. The Mounties started off the night with a win against the University of Valley Forge Patriots. They won in three, with the scores of 25-22, 25-14, and 25-23.

Sarah Fisher contributed 11 kills and had 5 blocks and Rachel Borst added 9 kills. Emma Pevarnik added 23 assists while Trisha Gleason picked up 15 digs.

The second match of the night, the Mounties took on the Lancaster Bible Chargers. The game was a hard-fought battle that ultimately ended in the Mounties taking home a win. The Mounties started off slow, losing the first set 16-25, but came back fighting. The second and third matches went to the Mounties with the scores of 25-17 and 26-24. They fell in the fourth set 20-25. They dominated the last set with the score of 15-11.

Sarah Fisher led the team offensively with 15 kills and Emma Pevarnik led the team in assists. Machala Gibbons picked up 28 digs for the win.

The next stop for the 6-8 Mounties is in Buffalo on Saturday to start conference play. They open against D'youville at 1pm which is the AMCC Game of the Week because it is a battle between the top two teams in the conference.  Immediately following they will take on Pitt-Bradford.
