Cresson, Pa. — The Mount Aloysius College women's tennis team faced two strong opponents during Alumni Weekend. The Lady Mounties fell to Franciscan University on Saturday and Pitt-Bradford on Sunday. 

On Saturday, Mount Aloysius was unable to win a match against a formidable Franciscan team. 

Sunday the Lady Mounties hoped to bounce back from the loss against Pitt-Bradford. Emily Goldyn and Joselyn Walters were able to secure the only Mounties doubles win with a score of 8-4.

Katelynn Arnold defeated Rebecca Jordan with scores of 6-4 and 6-1. The Mounties lost the match 6-2.

The team will be back in action on September 30th against La Roche College.
