Box Score St. Davids, PA- The Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team traveled to Eastern University on Monday, where it was defeated by a score of 7-1.

Eastern was able to get on the board quick as they were able to score in the 2nd minute of play. Eastern added three more goals in the first half, two of them coming on long distance shots that were well placed in the corner. 

After Eastern made it 5-0 from the penalty spot, the Mounties were able to pull a goal back. After James Maddison played a corner kick into the middle of the box, Christopher Godet volleyed a shot which fell to teammate Erik Johansson. Johansson collected himself and placed the ball into the lower left corner for a goal. Eastern answered the goal with two more of their own.

The Mounties (0-1-1) will take on Albright College on Wednesday September 5th. The game, which was originally scheduled to be at Albright, has been moved to Mount Aloysius and will take place under the lights, starting at 7:30pm.
