Cresson -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Soccer team hosted Hilbert in a Homecoming Weekend matchup. They defeated the Hawks, 3-0.
The Mounties dominated the game, owning most of the box score. While they outshot the Hawks in the first half, 17-0, they were unable to get a score, as the Hawks goalkeeper made six saves in the period. There were plenty of close calls on shots, but none were able to find the back of the net.
Johnna Adams (Lancaster, PA, Hempfield)Â would get the scoring started for Mount Aloysius, in the 48th minute. Adams goal ties her for the team lead in goals scored (4), with
Kourtney Walls (Salix, PA, Forest Hills).

Maddie Doyle (Abington, PA, Abington) scored her first goal of the season, on a header. The assist went to
Sam Torrenti (Chester, CT, Valley Regional), who delivered the pass on a corner kick.

Brianna Byler (Landisville, PA, Hempfield), who scored her third goal of the season.
GoalkeeperÂ
Lauren Davey (Leonardtown, MD, St. Mary's Ryken) registered her fifth shutout of the season. The shutout was a rare one, as Davey on faced one shot in the game, which she saved.
The Mounties improved to 2-1-1 in the AMCC, and bounced back from their loss on Tuesday. They will return to action, this coming Tuesday, when the travel to Bethany (WV) for a non-conference matchup with the Bison, at 4 o'clock.
