Erie, PA -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team traveled to Penn State Behrend on Wednesday afternoon for the semi-final round of the AMCC Tournament. They were defeated by Penn State Behrend, 4-1.
The Lions displayed a dominating performance where they outshot the Mounties, 17-7. The first half itself was a 12-2 advantage.
Behrend opened up the scoring in the 23rd minute of the game when they headed in a ball off a corner kick, to go ahead 1-0. They would add a second goal approximately six minutes later on a through ball, that gave them a 2-0 advantage. The last 15 minutes of the half would be scoreless, as the teams went to the break with Penn State Behrend ahead, 2-0.
In the 53rd minute, the Lions would score twice, to extend their lead to 4-0. The two goals came 16 seconds apart.

Linus Westberg (Malmo, Sweden, Sundsgymnasiet) assisted on aÂ
Ryan Peddle (Tauranga, New Zealand, Tauranga Boys' College) goal. It was Peddle's third goal of the season, cutting the Behrend lead to 4-1.
Christie would attempt one more shot in the final 34 minutes, but that would be the only attempt the Mounties could muster.
Penn State Behrend will move on to play Medaille, on Saturday, in the AMCC Tournament Championship game. The Mounties end the season at 15-6 overall.
