Chambersburg, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Baseball team traveled to Wilson on Wednesday afternoon, for a doubleheader. They went 1-1 on the day, falling in game one, 9-4, before winning their second game, 11-2.

Game 1
- After a quick first two innings with no action, the Mounties struck first in the top of the third inning. Cody Smith (Loysville, PA, West Perry) drove in the first run on a bunt single, following two runners reaching without a hit. Jeremy Iellimo (Arnold, PA, Valley Area) then got credited with a steal of home plate to score the second run of the inning, putting the Mounties ahead, 2-0.
- Each team followed with a scoreless half inning. In the bottom of the fourth, Wilson opened the frame with two hits, putting runners on second and third. The next two outs were productive ones that pushed runs across making it a 2-2 game.
- The Mounties pushed one across in the top of the fifth, after loading the bases. Andrew Pasko (Johnstown, PA, Richland) earned an RBI with a walk, pushing across the run with two outs.
- Wilson answered in the bottom of the fifth inning with four runs on two hits. Three Phoenix batters were walked in the inning, with the first two coming around to score. The other two scored on an RBI double and an error on the Mountie catcher.
- Mount Aloysius got one back in the sixth, taking advantage of an error on the third basemen, allowing Alan Mackey (Altoona, PA, Altoona) to reach base. After advancing to second on a sacrifice bunt, Mackey scored on an RBI single to right-center by Iellimo.
- In the bottom of the sixth, Wilson scored three runs, extending their lead to 9-4. The Phoenix only had two hits in the inning, as the first two runs reached based via walks.
- A hitless top of the seventh inning ended the first game, 9-4, in favor of the Phoenix.

Game 2
- The Mounties hit the ground running in the first inning of the second game, with the first two batters earning hits. Iellimo scored on a bunt single by Nicholas Belka (Freehold, NJ, Freehold ) scoring the first run of the game. A sacrifice bunt moved the Mountie runners into scoring position, where Brayden Lackey (New Cumberland, PA, Cedar Cliff) drove in both with a two-out single to left-center. The single gave the Mounties a 3-0 lead.
- Wilson earned a run back with three hits in the bottom of the first inning. The inning ended when left fielder Trap Wentling (Greenville, PA, Greenville) threw out a Phoenix runner at third base.
- After a scoreless top of the second, Wilson again scored a single marker in the bottom of the second inning. They opened the frame with two hits, with a groundout driving in the run, making it 3-2.
- In the top of the third, Belka reached on an error and Wentling was hit by a pitch to start the inning. A sacrifice bunt moved them both into scoring position. With two outs, freshman Troy Emert (Rockwood, PA, Rockwood) doubled to right-center scoring both Mountie runs in the inning, pushing the lead to 5-2.
- The bottom of the third started a nice string of pitching for Mountie starter, Tanner Perrone (Lilly, PA, Penn Cambria). Perrone did not allow a hit after the second inning, only allowing two base-runners.
- Iellimo led off the top of the fourth with a double. He would come around to score on an error by the Wilson pitcher following a bunt-single from Cody Smith.
