ALTOONA, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Volleyball team traveled to Penn State Altoona, on Wednesday, for the AMCC First Round matchup with the Lions. They were upended in three straight sets, effectively ending their season.

How It Happened
- After scoring the first point of the game, the Mounties saw it get away from them. They went down 4-1 and were eventually down 13-4.
- The Mounties would get as close as six points before giving up nine of the last ten points, falling 25-11.
- In the second set, the Mounties fell behind early, but kept it close, 7-5. The Lions then scored eight straight points, leading 15-5.
- Mount Aloysius would only get as close as seven before falling 25-12.
- Penn State Altoona jumped ahead quickly in the third set, getting ahead 8-2. While Mount Aloysius would cut the lead to three, the Lions would ultimately win 25-15.
