LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Tennis team traveled to play Lancaster Bible in a non-conference matchup on Saturday afternoon. They fell to the Chargers, 8-1.
The Mounties were at a disadvantage, only having five healthy players, so by default, they lost the #3 Doubles and #6 Singles matches.
Payton Whysong (Imler, PA, Chestnut Ridge)Â earned the lone point for Mount Aloysius, as she won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3. The win was Whysong's first of the season at #1 Singles.
The Mounties will get back in action on Sunday, when they host Medaille (1-1, 1-1 AMCC), in an AMCC matchup at Ebensburg Tennis Center.
