Ebensburg, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Tennis team opened their 2020-21 season on Sunday afternoon, as they hosted, conference foe, Penn State Altoona.
The game was Penn State Altoona's (1-1, 1-1 AMCC), second match of the weekend. They downed Mount Aloysius (0-1, 0-1 AMCC) 4-3.
In doubles, the teams split, with Altoona earning the #1 doubles victory and the Mountie pairing ofÂ

Penn State Altoona earned the victory as they bested Mount Aloysius in 3 of the five singles matches. The #3 and #4 singles matches went to Mounties,Â
Kendra Sines (Somerset, PA, Somerset) andÂ
Emily Abramowich (Somerset, PA, Somerset), respectively. No Mountie went undefeated overall in their appearances against the Lions.
The Mounties are set to face off against another AMCC opponent, next Sunday, as they travel to Pitt-Greensburg to take on the Bobcats.
