CRESSON, Pa. -- On Monday, the Mount Aloysius Women's Soccer team played host to Grove City, as a makeup to their missed contest earlier in September. The Mounties fell to the visitors, 2-0.

Lauren Davey (Leonardtown, MD, St. Mary's Ryken), had ten saves in just over 75 minutes in goal.
How It Happened
- Grove City controlled the game from the opening kick, starting with a shot in the first two minutes.
- The Wolverines scored first, in the 24th minute, on a goal by Britta Lagerquist. The score was the eight shot at the goal for GCC.
- After ending the first half at 1-0, Grove City added an insurance goal in the 70th minute by sliding one across the goal line.
- Walls had two corner kick opportunities and a shot before the game finished, but none resulted in a Mountie score.
