HAMBURG, N.Y. -- Mount Aloysius could not recover from a late 16-0 run by host Hilbert College, falling 73-70 in the season finale Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Mounties led in the opening minutes, but Hilbert tied the game, 11-11, at the 14:45 mark. The Mounties followed with a 9-0 run to give them a 20-11 advantage with about nine minutes remaining in the half.
- A couple minutes later, they earned a double-figure lead, 24-14, on a basket by Ibanez Medina. During the final portion of the half, Hilbert got as close as 4 points, but the Mounties maintained control and were ahead 38-30 at the half's conclusion.
- Hilbert tied the game two minutes into the second half, 38-38. However, the Mounties responded forcefully, reeling off 14 unanswered points to make it 54-40. A dunk by Jones gave the Mounties their largest margin of the game - 16 points - at the 14:53 mark.
- The Mounties led 59-44 at the 11:10 mark but Hilbert would go on a massive 16-0 run to take over the lead with 5:30 minutes remaining, 60-59. As the final minutes ticked down, the game stayed within one possession, with the lead changing hands several times. After the game was tied 70-70 at the 1:11 mark, Hilbert's Zach Miller hit a three-pointer in the last seconds to seal the victory for Hilbert, 73-70.
