Garzel hit three 3-pointers and Mercier added one from deep to give the Mounties a 36-31 advantage at halftime.
- During the first half of the third quarter, Hilbert was able to tie the game a couple times but the Mounties held on to the slight lead. But Hilbert took over the lead at the 4:49 mark to make it 43-42. Though Garzel would keep the game close, connecting on another three-pointer to keep the Mounties within one point at the 3:36 mark and then tying the score at 48-48. The quarter ended with the Mounties slightly trailing, 51-48.
- Hilbert opened the final quarter with six unanswered points for a 57-48 lead at the 5:42 mark. The Mounties cut the difference to just four points at the 2:43 mark but did not get closer the rest of the way. Hilbert gained control in the final minutes to win 68-58.
