How It Happened
March 15 vs. Wells

- The Express leadoff hitter reached on an error in the bottom of the third inning. He would come around to score, ultimately on a sacrifice fly, making the score, 3-1.
- In the fifth, Quade led off the inning with a single. He was followed by three consecutive doubles, by Iellimo,
Zack Peck (Huntingdon, PA, Huntingdon), and Bell. Peck's double drove in the first two runs, then Bell drove in Peck. Bell scored on a sac fly, pushing the Mountie lead to 7-1.
- Quade led the sixth inning off again with a double. After an Iellimo single moved him to third, Quade scored on a fly ball by Peck. 8-1 Mounties.
- Bell added the last two insurance runs, on a bases loaded single, in the eighth inning. 10-1 Mounties.
- Wells added three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, but that would be their last push, as the Mounties won, 10-4.
March 16 vs. Scranton
- Scranton started the scoring off in the top of the first inning, pushing one run across. The top of the Mountie order responded quickly, in the bottom of the frame. After Quade and Iellimo both reached base, Bell doubled to left field, driving them both in.
Troy Emert (Rockwood, PA, Rockwood) followed up Bell with a two-out, RBI single, making the score, 3-1 Mount Aloysius.
