How It Happened
Game One (vs. Hilbert)
- To start off the day, the Mounties fell behind a set, thanks in large part to a five-point swing by Hilbert which put them ahead by seven points. The Mounties were unable to recover, falling 25-16.
- After falling behind 2-1 in the second set, Mount Aloysius took the lead with four consecutive points. They would hold the lead for good, winning the second set, 25-20.
- Mount Aloysius started the third set ahead, but ultimately allowed an 8-2 run by the Hawks, putting them behind. They dropped the third set 25-19.
- In the fourth set, Mount Aloysius jumped ahead early, holding control for most of the set. Hilbert did take a small lead, 19-18, before the Mounties scored seven of the final nine points, tying the game at two sets a piece.
- The fifth and final set was tightly contested, with no team having more than a two-point lead. Unfortunately for Mount Aloysius, they ran out of time, falling 15-13.

Game Two (vs. Geneva)
- Set number one saw a 9-1 run by the Golden Tornadoes, pushing them to a one set lead, 25-14.
- Geneva jumped ahead in set two and kept the Mounties at a distance, winning the second set by a 25-16 score.
