CRESSON, Pa. -- Women's Volleyball Head Coach, Brianna Baker, has announced the program's 2022 schedule for this upcoming fall. The Mounties will look to improve on a 4-17 record in 2022, as they have a solid group of returners to pair with a talented group of newcomers.

The Mounties will play 26 contests, with 19 of them coming as part of their non-conference schedule. Mount Aloysius will play La Roche twice, this season, with only the match at La Roche counting towards the AMCC standings.

During Labor Day Weekend, the Mounties will head to Tennessee for the Maryville Labor Day Invitational, where they meet the hosts, as well as Rhodes and Sewanee during the tournament. They are scheduled to play three other multi-team events. Mount Aloysius will first host a tri-match with Clarks Summit and La Roche, on September 10, their first games of the season at home. September 16-17 has the Mounties traveling to Allegheny for the Gator Invitational. Contests against Allegheny, Fredonia, Hiram, and Waynesburg fill the weekend slate. They will also travel to Lancaster Bible for a tri-match with the Chargers and Lebanon Valley, scheduled for October 1.

Single home non-conference matchups are scheduled against Hood (Sept. 29), Lycoming (Sept. 22), Penn College (Sept. 27), and Penn State Harrisburg (Sept. 13). The Mounties will make trips to Franciscan (Oct. 3), Geneva (Sept. 14), Saint Vincent (Sept. 7), and Wilson (Sept. 21).

AMCC play opens up on October 3, when the Mounties host Pitt-Bradford. The Mounties have lost the previous two matchups against the Panthers, but won their last meeting in Cresson, 3-1, back in 2019. Penn State Altoona will visit Cresson on October 12, before Alfred State also makes the trip on October 15.

Mount Aloysius will play three of their final four regular season games on the road, traveling to Hilbert, La Roche, and the regular season finale at Penn State Behrend. They will host Pitt-Greensburg on October 26, as their final home game. The matchup will also be the annual Pink Out Game.

Mount Aloysius is looking to make their fifth consecutive AMCC Tournament appearance. The entire schedule with times can be found at the link below.
