GREENSBURG, Pa. -- On Wednesday, the Mount Aloysius Women's Volleyball team traveled to Pitt-Greensburg, to take on the Bobcats in an AMCC matchup. The Mounties came away with a 3-0 victory, improving to 2-1 in conference play.

Molly Richards (Naples, Fla. / Naples) led the Mounties, with 17 kills and a game-high, four aces.

Kadence Della Valle (Carrolltown, Pa. / Cambria Heights), had a team-high, 14 digs, to go along with one ace.

Emma Colyer (Orlando, Fla. / Olympia) had a team-high, 15 assists, for the Mounties.
How It Happened
- Pitt-Greensburg started off the match with an ace, but struggled to get much more going as the Mounties gradually grew their lead and won the set, 25-13. Mount Aloysius had 14 kills and just two errors in the set.
- In the second set, the Mounties had to fight. Neither team had more than a two-point lead until the Mounties scored five straight points to lead, 19-14. Each team scored six more points in the set, with five of the six Mountie points coming via Bobcat errors. The Mounties earned a 25-20 set win, giving them a 2-0 lead in the match.
- Mount Aloysius trailed just one time in the third set, falling behind 6-5 early on. While the teams continued to trade points to 10-10, the Mounties scored ten of the next 12 points and led 20-12. They continued to hold off the Bobcats, finishing off the set, 25-14 and grabbing the 3-0 victory.
Into the Box Score
- Mount Aloysius out-hit the Bobcats in each set and out-hit for the game, with a .228 hitting percentage, compared to just .019 for UPG. In the first set, the Mounties hit .387 with 14 kills in just 31 hitting attempts.
- The Mounties also had an advantage in aces (7-4) and blocks (6-2), dominating in almost every facet of the contest.

- Mount Aloysius will return home to the Athletic, Convocation, and Wellness Center, on Saturday, as the host Pitt-Bradford in another AMCC contest.
- Pitt-Bradford is currently 3-15 on the season, with an 0-2 record in the AMCC. Their most recent AMCC loss came against La Roche, 3-1, before losing to Alfred University in a non-conference matchup, on Tuesday.
- Saturday's game will be the program's annual Alumni Game, as well as this year's Senior Day. Senior Day recognition will start approximately 10 minutes prior to game time.
