CRESSON, Pa. -- On Wednesday, the Mount Aloysius Women's Volleyball team hosted Penn State Altoona in a conference matchup. The match was also the annual Pink Out game for Mount Aloysius. The Lions (10-10, 5-1 AMCC) came into the contest undefeated in conference play. The Mounties (9-14, 4-2 AMCC) came back after losing the first set to win, 3-1.

Molly Richards (Naples, Fla. / Naples) led the Mounties with game-highs in both kills (16) and digs (29).

Emma Colyer (Orlando, Fla. / Olympia), had game-highs of three aces and 21 assists, to lead the Mounties in those categories.
How It Happened
- Mount Aloysius led just once in the first set, 5-4, but fell behind from there and struggled to find their footing. While the Lions never stretched the lead to more than four points, they held the lead the rest of the set, winning the set 25-22 and leading the match 1-0.
- Penn State Altoona looked to get out quick in the second set, scoring the first five points, but the Mounties would roar back. Trailing 10-8 following a kill by

Mackenzie Barr (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Â Shaler) put together a six serve run that saw the Lions commit five consecutive errors and give the Mounties a 13-10 lead. From there, the Mounties held a slim lead at 20-18 but rattled off five of the final six points to even the match at one set a piece.
- To start the third set, the Mounties scored the first five points, including three kills by Barr. Mount Aloysius never trailed in the set, gradually growing their lead to eight points and finishing the set with a 25-17 advantage, putting them ahead in the match, two sets to one.

Madison Johnson (Hopewell, Pa. / Northern Bedford County) kill, the Mounties took control and scored 13 of the next 17 points to lead, 21-13. The two teams split the final eight points evenly, giving the Mounties another 25-17 set victory and a 3-1 match victory.
