Cresson, Pa. -- Mountie soccer saw a men's team victory and a women's team loss on Wednesday, October 4th against conference opponent La Roche.
Women's Game
How It Happened:
- Opening with some action in the first eight minutes that saw La Roche earn a shot attempt and two corner kicks, the game settled into a slow pace, with both teams struggling to find legitimate offensive opportunities.
- Junior
Grace O'Berry (Boonsboro, MD, Boonsboro) earned the Mounties first shot attempt on goal, one of just three combined attempts from both teams.
- The second half started slowly once again, although the Mounties were able to put a shot on goal off a 52nd minute corner.
- A misplayed bounce would earn the only goal of the game, with La Roche finding the back of the net in the 60th minute.

- The second half opened rough for Mount Aloysius, with La Roche scoring inside the first minute of action.

Louis Bez (Bordeaux, France, Lycée Sainte-Marie de la Bastide) wasted no time answering for the Mounties, putting one in just thirty seconds after La Roche opened scoring.
- The game continued on similar to the first, with Mount Aloysius putting non-stop pressure on the La Roche defense and goalie, but with much better returns.
