LATROBE, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Lacrosse team traveled to nearby Latrobe, on Thursday, for a non-conference matchup at Saint Vincent. The Bearcats came out ahead, 19-5.

How It Happened
- Saint Vincent started the scoring with just under six minutes remaining in the first quarter, but added four more goals to make the score 5-0 with 22 second remaining in the quarter. Figinski scored on a free position shot, just prior to the buzzer, making it 5-1 after the first period.
- In the second quarter, the Bearcats scored the first two goals of the period, giving themselves a 7-1 lead. Mount Aloysius responded by adding two goals of their own, about a minute apart. Geissler added the first one and Figinski scored her second of the game, with Geissler's coming in man-up situation. The two markers cut the deficit to 7-3. Over the final six minutes of the half, the Bearcats added three more goals, sending the game into the break, 10-3.
- The Bearcats scored twice in the first two minutes, to open the second half, before Figinski added her third goal of the contest, making the score 12-4. Saint Vincent rounded out the quarter by scoring four more times and taking a 16-4 lead into the final period.
- Mason scored the first goal of the fourth quarter, before Saint Vincent scored three times to finish off the scoring. The Bearcats won the contest, 19-5.
Into the Box Score
- Mount Aloysius won the battle of draw controls, 14-13, which did not prove fruitful. They lost the turnover battle, committing 30 turnovers while the Bearcats only turned it over 15 times.
- Saint Vincent held a signifcant advantage in shot attempts, taking 37 shots compared to only 13 Mountie chances.
