CRESSON, Pa. -- On Tuesday, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), in conjunction with Rawlings, released their annual NCAA Division III All-Region teams.
Tyler Quade (Mechanicsville, Md. / Chopticon) earned his second All-Region honor of the week, after being named Second Team All-Region by D3baseball.com, on Monday.
Quade earned First Team All-Region honors as an outfielder, this season, from the ABCA/Rawlings award. This comes after he received Second Team All-Region recognition in 2022.
He becomes the fifth Mountie to earn multiple All-Region honors from the ABCA/Rawlings, joining Derek Capiak '14, Matt Cornetti '12, Bryan Nolan '11, and Matt McCourt '19. Nolan is the only Mountie to be recognized three times, being selected as the All-Region Third Team Shortstop in 2008, 2009, and 2011.
Quade ranked in the AMCC Top Five in numerous offensive categories, including leading the list in both total hits (69) and batting average (.496). His batting average led the conference by more than 25 points and placed him second in NCAA Division III.
