BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Soccer team traveled to West Virginia, on Sunday, to take on Bethany in a non-conference matchup. The two teams each scored a goal in 90 minutes of play.

Natalie Despot (Hollidaysburg, Pa. /Â Hollidaysburg)Â scored her fourth goal of the season, which was the Mounties only goal.
- Goalkeeper,
Courtney Vought (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset), had a game-high, 10 saves.
How It Happened
- A few early shots for each team saw the Mounties take a 1-0 lead. Vought made a save for the Mounties in theh 8th minute, then Despot had back-to-back shots and scored on her second chance, in the 11th minute. She would tally another shot on goal a couple minutes later, as well.
- Vought would be sound in goal, making five more saves in the first half, including three saves in a three-minute span, keeping the Mountie advantage at 1-0.
- In the 57th minute, the Bison had the first shot on goal of the second half and found the back of the net, knotting the game at one a piece.
- From there, the teams combined for six shots on goal and all were stopped by the respective goalies, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
Into the Box Score
- Bethany tallied twice as many shots as Mount Aloysius, including 11 shots on goal, compared to just nine Mountie shots on target.
- The Bison also had 14 fouls in the game, while the Mounties had just six. Neither team registered a yellow card.

- Mount Aloysius is set to return home, on Wednesday, as they will host Mary Washington, at 4:00 p.m.
