CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Soccer team tripled their season total in goals, all on Saturday, as they scored ten times in a 10-1 drubbing of Notre Dame of Maryland University. It was the Mounties' first win of the season.

-
Natalie Despot (Hollidaysburg, Pa. /Â Hollidaysburg)Â and
Brooke Thomas (Altoona, Pa. / Altoona)Â each netted two goals, while

How It Happened

- In the second half, the Mounties put the pedal to the floor. Despot scored her first goal of the game, just over two minutes into the half, on the first shot of the period. Less than a minute later, she added her second goal on the very next shot and quickly made it 3-0 Mounties.
- After two saves by the new Gator goalie,
Jasmine Hinton (Huntingtown, Md. /Â Huntingtown)Â got in on the action and scored her first goal of the season on a header, in the 54th minute, to make the score 4-0.
- Mount Aloysius would quickly push the lead to 7-0, with three goals in two minutes and five seconds.
Grace O'Berry (Boonsboro, Md. /Â Boonsboro)Â would score the first goal, followed by Forrest and Figinski.
- Figinski would score her third goal of the contest, less than three minutes later, pushing the Mountie lead to 8-0.
- NDM would get a goal back, when Kathryn DeGrange scored on a free kick, in the 75th minute. 8-1 Mounties.
- Over the final ten-plus minutes, Thomas would score her first and second career goals, extending the Mountie lead to 10-1. The last goal came in the 89th minute, solidifying the Mounties' first win of the season.
