Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Mounties-Warriors Ends Scoreless

CRESSON, Pa. -- Mount Aloysius men's soccer hosted the Lycoming Warriors on Wednesday, ending with a 0-0 tie after 90 minutes of regulation.

Leaders
Martin Donner (Stockholm, Sweden, Danderyds Gymnasium Studievagl) led the Mounties in shot attempts, tallying three across the contest.
- Goalkeeper Luke Priestley (Edlesborough, England / Aylesbury Grammar School) recorded four saves for Mount Aloysius.

How It Happened
- The game opened as a back-and-forth affair, with both teams gradually testing each other from both the offensive and defensive ends. Mount Aloysius picked up their first yellow of the game 14 minutes into the match.
- A shot attempt by Daniel Irujo (Pamplona, Spain, Sagrado Corazon) in the 17th minute would be the final shot of the half, as each team struggled to find looks at the goal through the other's defensive presence. '
- Lycoming established a more possessive and aggressive offense in the second half, putting the Mounties in a defensive position with constant pressure towards the host team's end.
- While the second half saw more shot attempts than the first, the game slowed considerably, as yellow cards were distributed to both teams throughout and the offensive pressure saw an uptick in corner kicks.
- A corner kick in the 87th minute gave the Warriors a final shot attempt, which was handedly saved by Priestly, ending the game at 0-0.

Into the Box Score
