CRESSON, Pa. -- The 2024 All-Region Awards were released on Tuesday, from both D3baseball.com and American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings, the two major organizations that produce the honor. Mountie Baseball player, Tyler Quade (Mechanicsville, Md. / Chopticon), found himself on the list for both, earning both a First Team and a Second Team listing.

For 2024, Quade received a First Team selection from D3baseball.com, at the Utility position, while receiving Second Team honors from ABCA/Rawlings. This is the third consecutive season that Quade has been named All-Region by both organizations, having been on the list in both 2022 and 2023.

Quade made the list after being named the 2024 AMCC Player of the Year, as well as being First Team All-AMCC as both a pitcher and an outfielder. 

As a hitter, Quade led the AMCC in both Batting Average and On-Base Percentage, this season. While hitting .417 for the year, he hit a blistering .462 during conference play. He reached base at a .512 clip overall, while having a .574 OBP in conference play. During AMCC play, he ranked second with a .731 slugging percentage also.

While on the mound, he went 4-2 overall with a 3.99 ERA, but was even better in conference play by going 3-0 with a 3.23 ERA. He tallied 65 strikeouts on the season across 56.1 innings of work.

Being named to the All-Region teams again has put Quade in a league of his own. He joins Bryan Nolan '11 as the only Mounties to be recognized three times by the ABCA/Rawlings. He is the only Mountie to make the All-Region team three times from D3baseball.com, putting him in rarified air.

In the coming weeks, both organizations will release their 2024 All-America selections. Quade is looking to make an All-America team for the third time in his career.
