Glover Tabbed to Lead Mount Aloysius Men's Volleyball Program

CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Jillian Glover, as the next Head Coach of the Mountie Men's Volleyball program. She will replace Logan Patterson, who led the program over the past two seasons. Glover currently serves as the Head Girls' Volleyball Coach at River Valley High School.

"We are thrilled to welcome Coach Glover to Mount Aloysius to lead the Men's Volleyball program," said Athletic Director Kevin Kime. "She brings to us a wealth of experience both playing and coaching, and has connections to the local volleyball community. We are excited to see where she can take this program in the future."

Glover has coached on both the boy's and girl's sides in the high school ranks, before this jump to the college level. She got her start as the Girl's Junior Varsity Coach at Armstrong High School and has also volunteered with the Boy's Volleyball team at West Shamokin. Glover also spent time as the Head Coach for Intensity Club Volleyball.

Before she began her coaching career, Glover was a five-year member of the volleyball team at Division II PennWest Edinboro (formerly Edinboro University of Pennsylvania) from 2013-17. Prior to Edinboro, she was a three-time All-State selection at West Shamokin High School. During the 2023-24 season, Glover played for the Steel City Surge, a semi-professional tier II team. The Surge compete in the Volleyball League of America.

She will inherit a program that went 9-15, this past season, with a 2-7 record in AMCC play. It was their highest win total in the three years of program history. The 2024 team did not have any seniors.
