Despot, Cason Named to AMCC All-Conference Team

CRESSON, Pa. - November 11, 2025 - On Tuesday, the AMCC released All-Conference teams for men's and women's soccer.

Mountie seniors Maggie Cason (Spotsylvania, Va., Riverbend) and Natalie Despot (Hollidaysburg, Pa., Hollidaysburg) were the two Mounties selected.

Despot earned Second Team All-AMCC honors following another strong season for the Mounties. After being named First Team All-Conference last season, Despot continued to make an impact in 2025, starting 14 of 15 matches and totaling two goals and two assists for six points, ranking among the team's top offensive contributors. She recorded 18 total shots, including 13 on goal for a .722 shots-on-goal percentage, and netted one game-winning goal in a key conference victory at Pitt-Bradford. Despot's consistency and playmaking ability on both sides of the field once again made her a vital part of the Mount Aloysius playoff appearance and earned her back-to-back all-conference recognition.

Cason earned All-AMCC Third Team honors in 2025, marking her third straight all-conference selection after being named to the Second Team the past two seasons. A steady presence in the Mounties' midfield, Cason started all 17 matches and contributed one goal and one assist for three points. She tallied seven shots, including six on goal for an impressive .857 shots-on-goal percentage, and played a key role on both sides of the field throughout the season. Cason's consistency, leadership, and experience continued to make her a valuable part of the Mount Aloysius lineup. Cason will get to wear a Mountie uniform for one more season, as she is a member of the women's lacrosse team.

Soccer finished 2025 with a record of 5-8-4, which included the 4 seed in the AMCC playoffs under first year Head Coach Tyler Sisler. Sisler will look to revamp the roster after losing seven seniors this year.
