CRESSON, PA - November 3, 2025 - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's wrestling and women's volleyball for the period running from October 27-November 2, 2025.

For women's volleyball, Senior Molly Richards (Naples, Fla., Naples) was tabbed the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week for the sixth time this season. The Naples native powered the Mounties to a pair of conference road wins including a crucial reverse sweep vs Hilbert on Saturday. Richards tallied 35 kills, 37 digs, and six aces across the two matches, while averaging 5.0 points per set. She hit .142 for the week while averaging 4.38 kills and 5.75 digs per set, helping the Mounties go 2-0 in conference play this week and locking up the #1 seed for the AMCC Tournament. 

The Mounties (19-6, 7-0 AMCC) sit atop of the AMCC standings and will be the #1 seed going into playoffs. The Mounties regular season finale had the looks of being for the regular season title and #1 seed, but since PS Altoona defeated PS Behrend on Saturday, the Mounties now have a two-game cushion with one game left and cannot be caught.

The Mounties will wrap up regular season play this Saturday as they'll host the Penn State Behrend Lions (18-7, 5-2 AMCC). It's a big one for the PSB, as a win for them and an Altoona loss will lock them in as the 2 seed for the AMCC Tournament. A loss can drop them to as far as the 4 seed, dependent on the results of other AMCC contests. First serve will be at 2 PM.
