NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. -- On Tuesday, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) released their annual postseason awards, which included the all-conference teams. Eight Mounties were selected to the all-conference teams by the league's coaches, headlined by
Brandon Cook (Glen Burnie, Md. / St. Mary's) as the lone Mountie First Team selection.
Cook earned his first All-Conference selection in the outfield, as a Mountie, in 2025 with a First Team nod. He did so by leading the league in home runs, as he hit 10 total and five against AMCC competition. Cook was also sixth in the AMCC in RBIs, while ranking in the top five in both total bases and slugging percentage. An early highlight for Cook came against Alfred State, where he went 4-for-4, hitting three home runs and scoring four total times. He drove in six runs in the dominant 18-10 victory for the Mounties.
Sidric Grove (Clearville, Pa. / Everett) and
Tyler Quade (Mechanicsville, Md. / Chopticon), who flanked Cook in right and left field, respectively, both were Second Team selections, while third basemen
Owen McDermott (West Leechburg, Pa. / Leechburg), joined them on Second Team.
Grove made his first career appearance on the all-conference teams, as he moved into a full-time starting role for the Mounties in 2025. He made the most of it, slashing .455/.500/.636 in conference play, all of which ranked eighth or better. Grove also made his presence felt during last week's AMCC Tournament, where he went 4-for-9, with a homer and drove in three runs in each game.
Quade makes his fourth and final appearance on the all-conference list after a storied career, having been named First Team in 2022, 2023, and 2024. After being named the Preseason Player of the Year, Quade led the AMCC with 34 walks on the season, which led to his .488 on-base percentage. He also stole 18 bases, which ranked third in the AMCC in 2025. During the 2025 season, Quade became the program's all-time leader in hits, finishing with 239. For his career, Quade slashed .428/.508/.624, with 11 home runs and 122 RBIs.
McDermott earned his second career all-conference selection, following a Third Team selection in 2024 at third base. He improved all his numbers from 2024, which resulted in the move up to Second Team, this year. McDermott finished second on the team with 52 hits, which also ranked eighth among players in the AMCC. His 38 RBIs were fifth and his 11 stolen bases were eighth, in AMCC ranks. While McDermott only walked three times in 2025, he still carried an on-base percentage over .409, contributing heavily to the Mountie offense.
Four Mounties were selected to the AMCC Third Team, all receiving their first career all-conference selection. Senior shortstop
Ryan Bushey (Latrobe, Pa. / Derry) and Senior catcher
Jeremy Eck (Myerstown, Pa. / Eastern Lebanon County), were joined by freshmen
Trent Dickson (Reinholds, Pa. / Cocalico) at second base and
Troy Misiura (Coalport, Pa. / Glendale) as a pitcher, rounding out the Mounties' eight total selections.
Bushey had the best year of his career in 2025, setting career highs in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging, runs, hits, RBIs, and walks. All the improvements led to his first career all-conference selection. He ranked third in the AMCC in runs and fourth in hits, while also ranking sixth with 13 stolen bases. The senior made just one error against AMCC competition, showcasing his defensive ability that went along with his offense.
Eck's career culminated with an all-conference selection at catcher, after spending much of his career as a pitcher. The senior did not tally an at-bat during either his sophomore or junior seasons, but ultimately transitioned to controlling the pitching staff from behind home plate during his senior year. He played in 12 of the Mounties' 14 conference games, hitting .295 with four home runs on the season.
Dickson made an immediate impact for the Mounties as he started 38 games in his freshman season. He ranked third on the team in RBIs and fourth in runs scored, while playing at the keystone defensively. Dickson tallied nine multi-hit games and also carried a nine-game hitting streak at one point during the season.
Misiura turned himself into a reliable starting pitcher for the Mounties, earning his Third Team nod in the process. He finished second on the team with 37.1 innings pitched while starting eight games. In conference play, Misiura was at his best, starting twice and going 2-0 with a 2.40 ERA and tossed a complete game in both starts. Despite earning the loss, Misiura was tasked with starting the Mounties' elimination game in last week's AMCC Tournament, showing his importance in the rotation.
The 2025 season saw the Mounties tie the program record with 27 wins before falling in the AMCC Tournament. They are still set to see four all-conference players return in 2026, as Dickson, Grove, McDermott, and Misiura are all freshmen or sophomores, with multiple other young players adding contributions throughout this past season.
