CRESSON, Pa. - On Wednesday, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference announced their annual postseason awards for Women's Lacrosse. Mount Aloysius had three representatives on the All-AMCC team: Freshman Cassidy Cook (Glen Burnie, Md., North County), who was also named Co-Offensive Player of the Year, Graduate Student Clara Larios-Soto (Laurel, MD, Laurel), and Sage Hoover (Dalmatia, Pa., Line Mountain).
Cook is the first Mount Aloysius player to be named Co-Offensive Player of the Year, following a season which saw Cook named Offensive Player of the Week twice and Defensive Player of the Week once. The freshman had an impressive debut season, finishing fourth in the league in goals (43), assists (11), and points (54).
Larios-Soto was selected to the All-Conference team for the first time in her career. She posted high marks in several categories for the Mounties, including goals (26), assists (5), and points (31).
Hoover joined Cook and Larios-Soto on the All-AMCC Team, also for the first time in her career. The senior was a key member of the team, causing 23 turnovers and picking up 42 ground balls, ranking fourth and seventh in the league respectively.
This is the first time in history that Mount Aloysius has had three All-Conference members during the same season. In 2024, they had two nominees.
Mount Aloysius fell to La Roche 12-6 in the AMCC Championship this season.
